Festiva Updates

I wrote earlier about Festiva Saling Vacations and I did a teleseminar with them. Now comes news of some changes at Festiva.

The good news is that they are making a major push to market this unique luxury product through travel professionals. They are going to switch from a net pricing model to a straight 25% commission. Not quite as good as the upside potential of the net pricing model, but pretty darn good nonetheless.

They will also be doing occasional specials that can work well for home-based travel agents who can move specialized product to the luxury travel market. For example, book two cabins at the published rate, get the third free. Current per cabin (two people) rates are $4,995 for winter sailings and $3,995 for summer sailings.
